The Mount Shasta Recreation and Parks District is located in Northern California in Southern Siskiyou County. The District covers 91,000 acres surrounding and including Mount Shasta City. The service area is comprised of mountains, valleys, and river canyons with elevations ranging form 3200-8600 feet. Sitting within the Sacramento River watershed, the MSRPD City Park provides visitors with access to the Headwater of the Sacramento River.
Facilities operated by MSRPD provide users with the perfect place to hold community events and private parties. Facility rentals are available year round.
MSRPD is home to three separate parks. Mount Shasta City Park, Shastice Park and the Youth Sports Park provide access to playgrounds, sports fields, open spaces and nature trails.
